I absolutely love my Rambler and, no exaggeration, I regularly use all the tools. The combo tool is brilliant. I use it for tiny screws (replacing batteries in kid toys), and for huge screws (like my bathtub drain plate).
84/91mm Combo Tool
This tool typically replaces the cap-lifter and can-opener tools on some models, and is usually located in the position normally occupied by the small blade. It is noticeably thinner than its cousins, measuring only 1.44mm in width at the tang. The tool incorporates a flat head screwdriver, can-opener, cap-lifter (bottle-opener) and a wire-stripper. Later versions of the tool have a half-stop that allows the tool to catch for use in the 90º position.
The tool was listed as being introduced in 1982 on 84mm models and in 1986 on 91mm models, (1982 is in question, 1980 seems closer).
While they look very similar, the 84mm and 91mm combo tools are not the exactly the same. However, an 84mm combo tool will fit in a 91mm SAK, although it sits a little low in the frame, and will need to be 'drilled out' to fit the larger pins.
108mm Combo Tool
The 108mm combo tool is the largest version and features the unusual combination of a flat-head screwdriver, wood saw, can-opener, and cap-lifter. Some variations also have a nail-file/match striker on the side of the saw blade. It is found mostly on non-Victorinox manufactured GAKs. Earlier catalogues referred to this version as the Utility Tool.
111mm Combo Tool
This tool is nearly identical to its 84mm and 91mm counterparts. It has the same basic design shape and length, but the 111mm Combo tool has the advantage of being much thicker at the tang, measuring 1.96mm (just slightly less than the 2mm thickness of a typical 84 or 91mm cap-lifter).
GolfTool Combo Tool
This tool is unlike any other combination tool in that it is specifically made for use in the game of golf and is only available in the Golf Tool. It features a tee-punch, golf-club groove-cleaner, nail-file and bottle-opener.

The Combo Station consists of a combo table, single tool sheathing bridge, and indexing tool carriages. The combo table is available with either stud locators or wide projection plates for stud placement. Stud locators offer quick and precise stud placement, while wide projection plates are designed for manufacturers equipped with a laser projection system, or for those using a plate-marking saw.
Once the studs are manually placed into the combo table, the wall panel is clamped against the squaring edge by stepping on the footswitch on the load end of the table or by push-button controls on the exit end of the combo table. This ensures the wood wall panel is square before fastening. The top and bottom plates are then fastened to the studs by using the indexing tool carriages.
When the wood wall panel is completed it is easily moved from the combo table using the pop-up conveyors that are operated using a second set of push-button controls. Power conveyors are an optional upgrade to move wall panels hands-free between workstations.
The Combo Station comes equipped with indexing tool carriages and can also be purchased without. Indexing tool carriages eliminate the need to fasten wall panels by hand and allow operators to work at a safer ergonomic height.

However, when Graham Jackson and I were attempting to assemble tool kits for our respective Land Cruisers in Australia, we found that tools Down Under in general seemed to be either a) complete rubbish, or b) stunningly expensive. We bought one combo set that was so insultingly bad we wound up simply ditching it with friends to donate or bin as they pleased. It would certainly have failed at repairing any vehicle more substantial than a pedal car.
The last trip Roseann and I took I was determined to secure a high-quality ratchet/socket set and some decent wrenches. Shopping online from the U.S. I found that the well-respected Bahco tools were available in Australia (as well as the U.S.), so I took a chance on a combination kit (#S106 in the U.S.) and had it delivered to our friends in Sydney. I subsequently had an opportunity to use it for some minor but important repairs, and I was impressed. The ratchets have disappointingly coarse tooth counts (54, crude in this day of 72- and even 80-tooth ratchets), but they incorporate quick-release buttons, which I like, and lever rather than palm directional control, which I strongly prefer. Everything was of reassuringly solid construction, and the assortment was broad enough to be considered comprehensive:
"I have really bought into the Rope Bat as a training tool for all ages, but especially young players who get loose with their arms/barrel on the backside of the swing. Also, a great feel for proper direction in the swing."
"The Rope Bat might be the best tool in baseball right now. It forces you to stay inside the ball and extend through the middle instead of casting around. I have a lot of my athletes use this to make sure they're using their body right and not just their hands."
