Select Junit version

Hello,

I'm developing program for my PhD Thesis and I need to generate tests for further processing with use of Daikon tool. According to the documentation it's only possible to use Junit versions 3.x to generate data traces. So, I'm wondering if it's possible to use such version with Evosuite? We chose to target maven projects and the best option for us would be to use Evosuite maven plugin (in case we have such opportunity).
