"What We Have Learned" Session Tuesday night

Hi all,

I invite you to the final session of this particular series on Seeing Ourselves in the Story of Race (that kind of sums it up, I think). This last session will be led by Edyie Wood on What We Have Learned. 

You can come if you have been to none of the sessions, every session, or something in between. You can come to just listen, or to share with others what "take-aways" are staying with you as you continue the journey of Seeing Yourself in the Story of Race. 

Edyie has developed an Evaluation Form to fill out, which we would like you to spend a little time at the end doing. And if there are additional events you would like to see, or skills you need to practice, or thoughts or situations you need to discuss with someone, please be thinking about them before you come so you can include them in the comments on the Evaluation Form. That will help the Planning Group determine what comes next. 

This is not the end of these discussions, but other events may not be on Tuesday nights. We can keep you posted. 

Thank you to all who have participated. We do hope lots of folks will come out Tuesday from 7-8:30 to wrap up this series and share our insights and questions for the days ahead. 

One of the most critical needs for the days ahead in this country is to confront white supremacy as built into the founding of this Nation and carried on since its founding. Steve and I are convicted about this and heard this loud and clear in the conference we just attended on The Future of Democracy. Much is at stake. I am so thankful for all who participated and have been struggling together to learn and grow. Let's keep it up, and pass it on to others!
