"Speaking up: Responding to Everyday Bigotry" is a resource on the SPLC website. It is based on interviews with hundreds of people on how they respond to everyday conversations. I just came across it yesterday, scrolling through my weekly e-mail from the SPLC Editors. If you don't know the SPLC, it is the Southern Poverty Law Center which has been researching, tracking, and taking on hate crimes with their remarkable legal team for a long time, and there work is so essential now (not that it hasn't been before).

Just thought I would pass this information on to those who are continuing to seek out ways to talk with friends and neighbors and also those who are learning to have "white people talking to white people" conversations.

In peace,
Mary
