FlowEssence: 2nd Quarter Immersion

A Day of Music and Movement Dedicated to Human Unity and Healing

Join us for a family-friendly day of healing as we uplift our minds, bodies, and hearts through a sampling of wellness practices that are rooted in music, movement, and creative expression. 

Registration for this event is free with a suggested donation at the door.

Join us for a night of Ecstatic Dance to a diverse soundscape that will activate your creative energy, stimulate your imagination, and expand the reaches of your ever expanding soul!

Come as You Are ~ Move as You Please!

Ecstatic Dances are ALL ages, Substance-free, Family friendly, Free-form movement experiences. Kids 16 + under are FREE! And must be accompanied by an adult.

Location: First United Methodist Church, 5401 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232

(Event to take place in Fellowship Hall. Entrance located within the center courtyard, above the parking lot)

Schedule:

6:30PM: Doors Open

7 PM: Opening Circle Welcome, Intentions, and Grounding In with Ishkaday

Warm up with Marta Napoleone Mazzoni

7:30PM: Dance to the waves of love with URSIDAE

10:00pm -Social Hour After Party & Vendor Market

9:30 PM: Reconnection & Relaxation with Ishkaday and Marta 

10:00PM - 11 PM: Social Hour After Party

Thursday July 11th - Singing For Empowerment - The Lighthouse (private residence in Wilkinsburg) - also an Online Workshop on Mon. July 8th. Both events have a shared event page HERE 

Singing can be a powerful source of empowerment, inspiration, healing and connection. In this workshop I will provide a safe space of encouragement to help you unlock new passion to sing every day. We will do a variety of fun and interactive exercises using the power of our voices. Our ancient ancestors used song and dance to honor the cycles of life and it is time for us to reactivate these ancient ways. Also, no singing training necessary. There is a Zimbabwean proverb that says : If you can walk, then you can dance and if you can talk, then you can sing!

The event on Monday July 8th is Online via Zoom and on Thursday July 11th, the live version of the workshop is from 6:30-8:30pm at the LightHouse in Wilkinsburg of Pittsburgh, PA. Only 20 spots are available, so please message me to reserve your spot. 

For July 8th, Registration is Required, but you don't have to pay immediately, so if you are interested in joining, please take a minute to register here.

Then, you can decide closer to July 8th if you want to join in. The workshop will also be recorded, and many people enjoy watching the replay. Joining online live or watching the replay or attending on July 11th also includes being part of the 30-day Singing Challenge and Private Facebook Message Group, to encourage each other and stay connected for the 30 days following the workshop.
