There are a bundle of wonderful community events coming up in the next week. 

3 on Saturday. 1 on Sunday, and 1 next Tuesday. 

Here is the run down : 

Awaken The Inner Light - Community Wellness Day : Sat. Nov. 23 - 11am - 3pm - Wightman School : 5604 Solway St. - FREE EVENT

Join us for an uplifting, community-oriented event filled with empowering, heart-centered practices and movement led by local wellness practitioners. Explore a variety of holistic vendors, offering unique services and products designed to support your journey.

Take some time to enjoy 1:11 Juice Bar goodies and our complimentary Ceremonial Cacao, then step into the magic of Elemental Rythm Breathwork facilitated by Cam, owner of Sunnie Vibes Studio, who will also lead us in a vinyasa yoga flow after. Finish off the event with Crystal Bowl Sound Healing with Corey from Frequency Journey.

Located at the Wightman School House Building, from 11am to 3pm, November 23rd 2024. Perfect for taking care of yourself during the holidays!

This event is entirely free! Just remember to sign in at the check in table upon arrival.

Exploring Your Money Mindset - Sat. Nov 23 - 4pm-6pm - 5401 Centre Ave.

Are you struggling to achieve your financial goals? It's possible that you lack the skillset to achieve your goals, but likely it’s your mindset, not your skillset, that is holding you back.

Your beliefs are a self-fulfilling prophecy. In the words of Henry Ford, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right”. Your beliefs lead to how you think, feel & act, and your actions get you the results that reinforce your beliefs. To illustrate, see how you react to the following statements:

🚫 Artists don’t make a lot of money

🚫 You can't be rich and happy

🚫 I am too old/young to be successful

🚫 Money is the root of all evil

🚫 You can't live a spiritual life and have a lot of money

🚫Giving is better than receiving

These are statements of belief. Do you hold any of these to be true? None of them are objectively true, but belief makes them so, and you will do everything in your power to make them true to prove yourself right.

Now you have a decision to make. Do you want to be right, or do you want to achieve your goals? Are you going to play it safe and leave your long-held assumptions unquestioned, or are you ready to examine & change the beliefs that no longer serve you?

If you’re ready to dig deep and connect with other people committed to personal growth, then this event is for you.

During this workshop, you will :

1. Become aware of your current beliefs surrounding money (your “Money Mindset”)

2. Understand how these beliefs developed & where they came from

3. Begin the process of transforming & letting go of the beliefs that no longer serve you

All you need to bring is an open mind, and a willingness to change. All workshop materials will be provided for you. 

Gian Carlo Lies will be leading the workshop, and Kevin May will be helping to host and pass out materials. 

There is no charge for the workshop, but if you would like to make a donation to fuel more community events like this, we will have a basket available. 

ALSO - There is an Ecstatic Dance event at the same church which begins at 7pm on Nov. 23rd, so we figured some people may like to attend both. There will be an hour in between, where you could go get some food or go for a walk around the beautiful neighborhood of Shadyside.

Let’s continue to weave love in this community as we dance like a Phoenix ~ a symbol of the cycle of death and rebirth. Out of death comes life! Concert at the Lighthouse w/ Lovelle Harvey and Marielle + The Flowers - Sun. Nov 24 - 6pm at the Lighthouse in Wilkinsburg

Hey everyone! I'm starting up my project called The Traveling Jam Show and the first one is coming up in November at The Lighthouse intentional community in Peaceburgh. ✨

🌸What is the Traveling Jam Show? 
These shows are collaborative concerts where I and another local musician perform alongside the audience as they JAM with us. ANYONE can jam, sing, dance, and play. The essence of this project is that co-creation and improvisation are how magick is made. 
These shows will be mini festivals all over the country. As for now, most of them will be in PA and OH and I will be slowly branching out.

🌸How is it a mini festival?
Music won't be the only activity of the night. There will also be a live collaborative art piece that everyone will be welcome to add to. There will also be ceremonial cacao being served at the price of 4 dollars a cup. There will also be free healthy snacks and tea. And of course, there will be dancing and magickal conversation.

WINTER IS COMING - Online Workshop - Tuesday Nov. 26 - 6:30-8pm

As 2024 comes to a close, I believe it is important to reflect back and take stock of which valuable life lessons we each learned this year. Additionally, this is a great time to set intentions for the habits and goals we intend to cultivate during this upcoming winter season. This workshop will provide an encouraging community space for you to share your reflections and intentions with the group if you'd like. I will lead everyone through a Guided Meditation to bring greater harmony to Body, Mind and Spirit, so that we can all have more clarity as we reflect and vision into the future. 

Registration is Required, but you don't have to pay immediately, so if you are interested in joining, please take a minute to register here .

Then, you can decide closer to Nov. 26th if you want to join in. The workshop will also be recorded, and many people enjoy watching the replay. Joining live or watching the replay also includes being part of the 30-day Private Facebook Message Group, to encourage each other and stay connected for the 30 days following the workshop.
