Hi Everyone,

Thanks to those of you who were able to make it to the event held on
Friday, October 9th. I think the group came up with some very
creative ideas for collaboration!

HI Erin,

I'm sorry I missed this--your blog entry makes it clear that your
group is thinking about the challenges involved in teaching
collaboration. That, in itself, is encouraging. Given the overlap
between the interests of your group and what my collaborator, Paul
Hammond, and I are working on just up the road, I thought I'd pass on
a link to a short video we've made describing a collaborative learning
course we co-taught this summer. The course was focused on multi-media
composition and the topics, which we specified in advance, all
concerned sustainability and the university.

The video is only 3 minutes long--so no huge time investment! But
there's enough there to point to what we were doing--and, eventually,
to future digital-essays that will unpack the pedagogy.
