Hi, and I hope these rare, and intermittent emails are not unwelcome. If so, let me know.  

Martin and I are planning a road ride in the Seymour Demonstration forest. We are meeting at the bottom of the hill at the Superstore parking lot, just east of the Ironworkers.  

Hope all is well and the summer is splendid.

The Giro de Burnaby is on thisThursday night and I have planned to watch. If I change my mind I will let you know.

Martin are you cycling from Burnaby across the bridge? Do you want to try to meet somewhere like the Chevron station at Hastings and Barnett or just meet at the North Shore Superstore?

Hit a tree branch on a downhill section and had a big spill during Tuesday's ride in Burnaby with Tricity cyclist Ian. Bruised hip, bruise ribs and major road rashes, which will ruin my summer tan for sure. Luckily fire station was just around the block. Able to walk there and get some first aid from 3 very helpful firemen. Painkillers, Polysorrin, wound dressings and crutches are the order of the week. Hope to be back before the summer is over.

Sorry to hear about your crash.  Love the typo of polysorrin for polysporin.

It's certainly for the "sore's".
