The Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO 2026) will be held in San José, Costa Rica, from July 13 to July 17, 2026, and will present the latest high-quality results in genetic and evolutionary computation, in a hybrid format. Topics include genetic algorithms, genetic programming, ant colony optimization and swarm intelligence, complex systems, evolutionary combinatorial optimization and metaheuristics, evolutionary machine learning, evolutionary multiobjective optimization, evolutionary numerical optimization, neuroevolution, real-world applications, theory, hybrids and more.
*** HUMIES AWARDS ***
The 23rd Annual "Humies" Awards for Human-Competitive Results Produced by Genetic and Evolutionary Computation will be held as part of the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation (GECCO) conference operated by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group (SIG) on Genetic and Evolutionary Computation (SIGEVO). Decisions about entries chosen to be finalists will be made at the conference. The winners of the awards will be announced during the conference.
