BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover, on Friday, said that he and his wife, Madhuri Jain, were stopped at the Delhi airport while travelling to the US the night before. In a tweet, the 41-year-old entrepreneur said that immigration officials cited a lookout circular against him by the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) to block his departure.
"Kya chal raha hai India mein? Filhaal to Ashneer stopped at airport chal raha hai janab (What's going on in India? Currently, it's 'Ashneer stopped at airport')," Grover sarcastically remarked in a post on X.
"I had not received any communication or summon from EOW since FIR in May till 8 AM today 17 morning (7 hours after returning from the airport)," the entrepreneur said.

Indira Gandhi International is the second largest airport in India and the eighth largest is in the world. Designed by HOK International, Terminal 3 is the first airport building in the country to receive a LEED-Gold rating. Earlier, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad received a LEED-Silver rating.
Terminal 3 at the international airport in Delhi emphasizes natural light, construction materials and interior finishes with high recycled content and battery-operated vehicles for transporting travelers between terminals.
Environmental measures at the airport include use of battery-powered vehicles to transport travelers between terminals, construction of a CNG filling station for other support vehicles and an aggressive water management and treatment program. DIAL has also installed a 7.84 MW solar power plant on the airside, and, as part of stakeholder collaboration, operators of the cargo terminals at the airport have added another 5.3 MW rooftop solar power plant. DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar commented,
"DIAL has been working relentlessly towards environmental sustainability and has set its target to make Delhi Airport a Net Zero Carbon Emission airport by 2030, way ahead of the global target of 2050. To achieve this, DIAL has adopted a Green Transportation program recently and now we achieved another milestone of the Green Energy Program for IGIA."
The airport has given itself a deadline to become a zero-emissions airport by the end of this decade. For this, it has been gradually undertaking several initiatives, such as becoming the first in the country to be free of single-use plastics in 2020 to becoming the first in the world to clock 1,000 TaxiBot movements.

All the six metro stations on the line are known as City Airport Terminals (CATs).
