Above, we have a single patient, p10000032. Since the first three characters of the folder name are p10, the patient folder is in the p10/ folder. This patient has four radiographic studies: s50414267, s53189527, s53911762, and s56699142. These study identifiers are completely random, and their order has no implications for the chronological order of the actual studies. Each study has two chest x-rays associated with it, except s56699142, which only has one study. The free-text radiology report corresponding to each study and the original DICOM format images are available in the MIMIC-CXR database.

Finally, a glance at the relevant sections of the DIN 6815 (Medical X-ray equipment up to 300 kV: Rules for testing of radiation protection after installation, maintenance, and essential modification)3 is necessary. The delineation of the CA is defined in Section 4.1 of the document. It is claimed that the boundaries of the CA should be congruent with the size of the X-ray room. According to this phrasing, the use of a mobile system in the field is forbidden. The most critical point, however, can be found in Table 1 of the document (minimal extent of the CA for specific X-ray systems). In row 1, the minimal radius of the CA is specified as 1.5 metres or more with the X-ray source or the patient as the centre.

Although mobile and handheld systems are used frequently in some countries, radiation protection parameters have not been assessed in detail. One of the first publications dealing with handheld and portable X-ray devices was a statement paper formulated by a workgroup within the European Academy of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology in 2015.4 To the best of our knowledge, only two more publications are available to approach this topic. Both studies evaluated the E accumulated by the operator while using a handheld and portable X-ray device.5, 6 Both papers did not find a significant increase of the E for the operator.

The linear results of the DAP measurements showed that the evaluated system works within the range of adjustable exposure times. This is an important parameter for mobile X-ray devices with rechargeable batteries, whereas voltage variations can lead to X-ray spectrum changes.

The increased use of mobile phones has raised the question of possible health effects of such devices, particularly the risk of cancer. It seems unlikely that the low-level radiofrequency (RF) radiation emitted by them would damage DNA directly, but its ability to act as a tumor promoter is less well characterized. In the current study, we evaluated the effect of low-level RF radiation on the development of cancer initiated in mice by ionizing radiation. Two hundred female CBA/S mice were randomized into four equal groups at the age of 3 to 5 weeks. The mice in all groups except the cage-control group were exposed to ionizing radiation at the beginning of the study and then to RF radiation for 1.5 h per day, 5 days a week for 78 weeks. One group was exposed to continuous NMT (Nordic Mobile Telephones)-type frequency-modulated RF radiation at a frequency of 902.5 MHz and a nominal average specific absorption rate (SAR) of 1.5 W/kg. Another group was exposed to pulsed GSM (Global System for Mobile)-type RF radiation (carrier-wave frequency 902.4 MHz, pulse frequency 217 Hz) at a nominal average SAR of 0.35 W/kg. The control animals were sham-exposed. Body weight, clinical signs, and food and water consumption were recorded regularly. Hematological examinations and histopathological analyses of all lesions and major tissues were performed on all animals. The RF-radiation exposures did not increase the incidence of any neoplastic lesion significantly. We conclude that the results do not provide evidence for cancer promotion by RF radiation emitted by mobile phones.

The Avenger2.0 combines strength and speed into a compact, highly mobile, tactical response ground robot. It can deploy recoilless and certain recoil disruptors, as well as CBRNe sensors and X-Ray equipment downrange with full connectivity to the operator, giving a clearer understanding of multiple threats.

Ask half a dozen radiologists about mobile radiology apps and you can expect about six answers. Many PACS offer a mobile viewer, which tends to serve as an emergency tool for most of the radiologists who use it. Who would want to view images on a smaller screen with fewer tools than their workstation? Enough radiologists have workstations set up at home to handle many of those cases as well.
The appeal of many reference and education apps also is a matter of personal preference. It makes sense that less of radiology is migrating to handheld devices than is the case in many other fields.

On March 2, 2015, NetherRealm Studios announced that their mobile division would release an Android and iOS version of Mortal Kombat X in April 2015. The mobile game is described as a "free-to-play fighting/card-battler hybrid" and players would be able to unlock content in the console version of the game by playing the mobile version (and vice versa).[2] The iOS version was released worldwide on April 7, 2015, while the Android version was soft launched on April 21, 2015, in select Asian countries,[3] before a global release.

With the 1.11 update version of the mobile game released on December 6, 2016, Freddy Krueger who appeared as a downloadable character in Mortal Kombat (2011) was added as a mobile-exclusive character using his signature moves and X-Ray attack from the previous game.[4] On the update 1.13, Baraka and Jade were also added in the game as mobile exclusives, using their X-Rays from the console release. Version 1.14 from September 2017 included Takeda, as well as the most recent addition to the ninja cast, Tremor. By October 4, another update was released, featuring Goro and Shao Kahn, followed by a February 2018 update that introduced Bo' Rai Cho and Kintaro, and an October 2018 update introduced console downloadable character Leatherface. In February 2019, the game was renamed Mortal Kombat Mobile with its 2.0 update with a vast overhaul of new features for Mortal Kombat 11. Furthermore, the 2.0 update upgraded its graphics engine from Unreal Engine 3 to Unreal Engine 4.
