Police are investigating and have not determined what caused the Tesla to come to a stop.  The National Transportation Safety Board contacted local police and called the crash "unusual." ... The problem appears to stem from an issue with Tesla's automatic emergency braking system, a feature in most new vehicles that hits the brakes when sensors indicate that a crash is imminent ...
