how to know number of transcript in each gene

Dear EVM developer




After running EVM and Maker annotation with the same species, I found they give the different results that GFF from Maker can reveal more than one transcript within one gene. Is EVM can do that? Maybe, there is some script to do that but I can’t find it. Would you have any suggestion ?

Hi,

EVM only provides a single prediction per genomic locus.  For alt splicing annotations based on RNA-seq data, we use PASA.
