If I have mumps code like this:

USE $P:NOECHO
USE $P:ESCAPE

Is the expected behavior that the net result will be cumulative?  From my reading of the code, I think so.  I just want to be sure.

Another example:

USE $P:(ESCAPE:CANONICAL)
...
...
...
USE $P:(NOCANONICAL:NOECHO)

In this code, the ESCAPE move remains enabled.  I.e. all states remain unchanged until explicitly changed.

Is this correct understanding?

Thanks
KT
