Thinking in pictures

I found this to be really interesting and possibly revolutionary. Chinese researchers have found a way to compress text files by a factor of 10, something that most thought to be impossible, but far more important, they found a way to use their compression method in AI. Even if the input is pure text the AI would take a picture of the input text, compress it with this new method and then feed that into the AI's neural network. So the AI would be thinking not in words but in pictures, and the context window could be 10 times the size it is now.  Einstein always said he thought in pictures not words, the words and even the equations came later.
