Everything (almost) has a price.  The problem is that Trump has the negotiation skills of my dog.  If he was going to sell our most advanced chips to China he should have gotten something BIG, like a dimilitarized zone  on the mainland opposite Taiwan with verification by overflights and giving up bases in the South China Sea.
