This 'blog' is so new... that I know not what I do, a place I am not
familiar with! It is said that practice breeds familiarity - so - this
is what I am doing - a practice lesson (no GRASSHOPPER COMMENTS
PLEASE! <grin>)

Being 'born' into my name has been, in a word, interesting, F & J gave
way to GISHOLDT. I want to know more and if any reader knows just even
a shred - please share.

Sincerely,

Wes

I actually knew the spelling - that was just a momentary lapse of
reason!
is not the pronunciation more like "gish holt"?

The "ish" is silent.  So, it's Gisholt.
