Hello Every Proxy Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.
I am experiencing a persistent issue with Every Proxy on multiple Android devices, and I would like your help to diagnose it.

Problem Summary:
When I enable the mobile hotspot and start Every Proxy, the app does not show any LAN IP such as 192.168.x.x.
Instead, it only displays mobile network interfaces like:

  • 10.x.x.x

  • 172.x.x.x

  • 21.x.x.x

  • and various IPv6 addresses

Because of this, Every Proxy cannot bind to a proper local hotspot interface, and the proxy traffic stays at 0 bps.
The hotspot seems to be running in bridged mode even when “Wi-Fi Sharing” is disabled.

Tested Devices:

  • Sony Xperia (Android) — mobile data

  • Xiaomi (Android) — mobile data

  • Both devices have the exact same issue.

Important Notes:

  • The problem only happens on mobile data.

  • When using Wi-Fi, the hotspot creates a proper LAN (192.168.43.x) and Every Proxy works correctly.

  • VPN used: Surfshark (works fine by itself).

  • I need to share VPN connection with other devices using hotspot + proxy.

My Question:
Is this issue caused by carrier restrictions (no NAT on hotspot), or is there a configuration inside Android/Every Proxy that can force NAT or expose the hotspot LAN interface?

Any guidance or advanced configuration advice would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support.
Best regards,
Petro

Hi Petro,

I can see the same as you with the newer android versions.

Can you try using the primary 10.x.x.x address in the secondary device? My test devices work using this IP address.

Thanks
