Hello Dear Ones,

In the spirit of Lois's recent resurrection of our class thread, I thought I'd mention that I'm teaching my first restorative class tonight at a neat community space called The Omni, in Temescal.

The Omni Commons is home to

Omni Oakland Commons, 4799 Shattuck Avenue, Oakland, CA 94609

in the 2nd Floor Disco Room

The Omni Commons is comprised of several Bay Area collectives with a shared political vision—one that privileges a more equitable commoning of resources and meeting of human needs over private interests or corporate profit.

We invite you to join us in establishing a safe, productive place to pool resources for the collective use and stewardship of the greater community. A space that fosters an ethic of radical collaboration across disciplines and between individual collectives, creating a living model for future radical spaces. Learn more about our history, vision and values at our wiki!

Eek! Hand slipped to Send too quick. I'm actually blushing from having sent an email to you all, in mass, that is all formatting messy and incomplete. :-)

Let me try again:

Hello Dear Ones,

In the spirit of Lois's recent resurrection of our class thread, I thought I'd mention that I'm teaching my first restorative class tonight at a neat community space called The Omni Commons, in Temescal.

Class will be 7 - 8:30, involve a slow flow and an extra-long, yoga nidra-style savasana.
Mats are available, but if you've got home props like blankets, blocks, or bolsters, you might bring those -- our little collective is just getting started and still gathering materials.

Here's a little more about The Omni:

I would love to see you, and I also just love thinking about you out there. Our training continues to reverberate in my life.

Love to all,

   Melissa

p.s. Formatting mostly taken care of, but I'm at a loss on all the colors, so there it is. xo

Hi Melissa,

That is great and thanks for sending this out.  I especially like that it is in the 2nd floor disco room.

I can't make it, but hope to catch one of your upcoming classes (keep us posted!)

Ok ok I cannot stay quiet any more. Lois is divinity. All your responses to Lois are also treasures.

I have missed you all and can you believe it's been almost 2 years?

I am moving back to the Bay Area 'round about April-May!  I cannot wait to practice next to your sweet selves.  Seriously.  That said, I will intensely miss the 4 classes I have been teaching every week here for 18 months.

Every one of you inspires me. Thoughts of our time together seem like yesterday.
Love and see you soon,
Elizabeth
