What’s your dream for your Jewish community? The National Havurah Committee invites you to apply for an Innovation Fund Grant to enact it! You can apply for a grant of $300-1,000 for a range of projects, and the NHC can even connect you to human resources to provide guidance as you make your dream a reality. Last year, seven Innovation Fund grants supported retreats and events where over 160 people engaged in meaningful grassroots Jewish activities, including Jewish learning, developing service-leading skills and learning new melodies, and community-building shabbatons. The Innovation Fund also provided essential seed support to an online repository of service-leading melodies and to “Jerusalem Unfiltered,” a multimedia educational website about Jerusalem’s many communities. First-timers, risk-takers, ideas large and small, and collaborations with other groups are encouraged!
Applications are due January 24th, 2014! More details and application at: NHC Innovation Fund
