Windows 10 slower than Win 7?

We've transitioned to Windows 10 from Windows 7 - Some of the pc's were wiped and reinstalled, a few were 6-7 generational newer cpu's. With this, it's common that opening orders and editing items is slower in Win 10 than 7... Printing is fixed and works fine. Any suggestions for improving performance on Win 10?

You might have to create a remote desktop server and have everyone run everest from there if you cant get it to run well on Windows 10.
