Everest 5.0.2.6 description field

By default, Everest Item Description Field is limited to 26 characters.

Does anyone know how to modify it to allow more characters?

Maybe a modification in a certain SQL Stored Procedures or ???

Hi,

Item description field limit to 40 Char. NOT 26 char.

You may change ITEMS.DESCRIPT field limit, if needed

Hi, where can i find the ITEMS.DESCRIPT field limit settings ? i would like to max it out, we have version 5.0.2.6

Go on ITEMS table in database to increase "descript" field size

Note: Everest item screen (front end) does not allow you to enter more than 40 chars.

you may use any custom memo column instead of increasing description field size.
