Hi all,
Is it possible to create snapshots without using the Hadoop implementation? I am using the MongoDB (casbah) journal and would like to store snapshots in there.
We have multiple instances already talking to mongo and I would like to avoid having to setup Hadoop HDFS just for this.

Do I have any option?

Thanks

Hi Andre,

Not that I'm aware of but Martin would know better. That being said I highly recommend your switch Akka-Persistence. The Akka-Persistence Mongo driver supports full snapshots stored in mongo.

Cheers,

Duncan

Hi Duncan , Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately I am not in a position to update yet. There are too many dependencies that are required for that :(
