An (early) Happy New Year to you all, Folks!!!
Yes yes I KNOW it's Wednesday, it's New Year's Eve, - but if you're
anything like I am, you'll understand me putting this out today
instead of wondering why
I can't find the laptop tomorrow ;). It's the final hours of 2008, and
it's all time to hit the reset button, OK? :) Everything from 2008 is
now just so last year. So, we have the task ahead of us to make 2009
even better :) - and dammit we will.
For all those heading out to Sydney Harbour to see the Fireworks
tonight - they have a treat in store as there are some new effects
which have not been used in ths country before - so keep your eyes
peeled. Those going to various parties - be safe, especially on
balcomies. Also, those heading to clubs, play safe and play sane OK?
It's New Year and we all get a little crazy with that time of year.
Look after your friends, and if in doubt... don't.
So, what do wo have in store for 2009? Well, right now we have people
heading into the city for NYE craziness. We have THE SYDNEY FESTIVAL
getting ready to hit it's stride in a few days (it starts a week late
these days, don't ask me why), FLICKERFEST starting next week/end, the
first clubs of the year (especially ASCENSION) this coming Saturday
night. All in all, I think 2009 will be a VERY good one for many
people :)
Also, I have to thank people like Melanie, Natalie, the Hellfire Crew,
the Under The Blue Moon organisers, all the club organisers who have
been more than helpful this year, and you guys for reading this drivel
I put out (on average) twice a week. Without you all, I wouldn't be
heading into my 10th year in doing this list. Have a safe and happy
NYE, and start to the New Year and I'll see you all around the
traps ;).
See? Just a very short intro this weekend. So, let's just get on with
the process of putting this list out :)
