Good Morning, Folks
Even though it looks like the Federal Government is backing away from
their Nationwide Internet Filtering Scheme, there is a rally at Town
Hall on Saturday morning at 11am (details below) where you can voice
your protests againt even more draconian measures to restrict your
internet freedom and speed. This is important and will affect
everyone.
Keep a lookout for tickets for new shows, new concert tours, and not
to mention new clubs on the horizon. More gets revealed in the coming
weeks - then again it IS only 2 weeks until Xmas!!
The Festival Of Sydney has already had some shows sell out, so grab
tickets whilst you're able to - there are some great things happening
during the festival and you do NOT want to msis out on some of the
good ones. Speaking of good tickets, I believe that there are a few
(not many) good seats available for BILLY JOEL tonight and (for the
squealers amongst us) KYLIE on Sunday. Both are appearing this week
and both shows have rave reviews. Of course (just announced) is the
return of AMANDA PALMER (of The Dresden Dolls) appearing with The
Danger Ensemble at The Opera House in February... snap them up as
there are only three shows in cabaret seating.
Speaking of tickets... grab yours for BLACK CHERRY XMAS, SHALLOW
PLANET NYE and THE BLACK BUTTERFLY NEW YEAR'S BALL as they will sell
out quickly.
