MUMBAI MIRROR 28 FERUARY 2008
There was plenty of wit and repartee here and jokes at each other's
expense. But no offence was taken because each one felt free to live
according to her or his beliefs and values. Yet each took away
something of great value from the encounters.
MUMBAI THEATRE GUIDE 28 FEBRUARY 2008
There is a lifelike quality further enhanced by good performances. You
come out thinking you have watched good theatre, which is after all a
rarity these days.
KALKI WEEKLY 14.10.2007
Disturbing moral questions are raised in the three plays – Fawn
Lilies, Water Lilies and Black Lilies. The search for answers is
realized as the most interesting part of some questions. The fact that
there are no answers is the answer for others. And there is the sly
pretence of not knowing the answers, reason challenging the answers
known to instinct. With fine dialogues Gowri Ramnarayan shapes rounded
characters and strengthens the narrative.
THE NEW INDIAN EXPRESS, 21 OCTOBER 2007
Dhritiman Chaterji, who plays the writer with a tortured soul,
combines the self confidence of professional success with the fears of
one tormented by guilt. The script remains the biggest asset –
depicting pain without melodrama, giving lessons without preaching.
SRUTI, A MAGAZINE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS - DEC 2007
This is theatre where versatility is part of the game. If you are
riding a creative high, go with it. You might strike gold.
