How to load test EM::Websocket?

I've built a EM::Websocket server that is using EM::Channel for pub/
sub. Any tips of how to test out how many concurrent connections can
be supported? If this was a regular web app I'd use ab to test but
considering the Websocket component it's not clear to me on the proper
method.
