Setting an event hero image

Does anybody know how to set the hero image via the api for an event? I have figured out how to upload images and embed them into the modules of an event, but I don't see where to do it for the event hero.

Not an expert or insider but wanted to share how I update the main banner image. I used the structured content api to grab the widget with type ‘herocarousel’.

When updating the structured content, I am sure to add all the existing modules back to be sure they aren’t erased. Also be sure to update the version of the structured content when sending in the post call with the update. 

I had some difficulty when I was first exploring and using the modules so hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need specific code (in python).
