Eventbrite embedded checkout does not apply promo code

Hi, 

I created a checkout page on my website which generates a random promo code for subscribed users to checkout an event. The promo code is successfully created and added to the eventbrite widget, but it doesn't apply it automatically. I have to manually apply the promo code, which then activates the discount (evidence of promo code validity). I have tested this code and it worked (i.e. the discount was automatically applied), in the first few days. Now it logs these messages and doesn't apply the code.

Could you help diagnose?

Thank you for re-surfacing this issue.

Can you please let me know an event ID you're experiencing this issue with, as well as the embedded checkout code you are using with the promo code included?

We need to look into examples to investigate further and I will be more than happy to publicly share our findings here!

I'm having a similar issue - previously created a code to auto fill into the embedded checkout modal on my page, but it now no longer does so. Please help!

Hi all!

I'm happy to report that this issue has been resolved. You should now see that if you follow the Embedding a Checkout Widget documentation here and pass a promo code to the checkout flow, it is automatically applied. If you find that is not the case, please let me know in this thread and include a link to your website.
