I have a similar problem. My event is free but it is marked as unavailable. I have no idea why. I've never had this problem before.

I have the SAME ISSUE, I say boycott eventbrite. I cannot get anyone on the phone to help or respond by email

This happened to me too. I created a recurring free event and wanted it to be invite only. I set the tickets to "hidden" but the event was listed public. I don't recall doing that, but the correct setting was to have tickets "available" and the event "private". I couldn't do this from the top bar drop down which said "unavailable", which was frustrating and unclear why Eventbrite is set up that way. I had to dig deep into the event details for "tickets" and "Advanced settings" to change this.
