Dan,

Though my April billing went fine, here are some comments I made while working on it.

In Version 2.1.4, "a c; MMM d yyyy -b 1-1-13 -e 1-31-13" doesn't work (brings up April AND May hours)
Above is what I used to use.  Also,  "a c; MMM d yyyy -b -1/1 + 31d" shows both April and May time.

However "a c; MMM d yyyy -b -1/1 -e 1" works just fine, so I am not complaining.

And, I still can't figure out how to consistently get the save icon to light up so I can save the report query.  Basically, I just do it several times and eventually the save button works.  I can see no pattern.

Hope this finds you well and happy.

John

Your first entry should include entries from January 1 through January 30. Using "-b 4/1 -e 5/1" should work for April entries. Your second entry should include all entries beginning with May 2 (the first of the previous month plus 31 days). Perhaps you meant to use "-b -1/1 -e -1/1 + 30d"?

However "a c; MMM d yyyy -b -1/1 -e 1" works just fine, so I am not complaining.

This is the recommended specification to get entries for the previous month.

If you enter a report specification that is already in your list of saved specifications, the save icon will not be enabled since there is nothing new to save. You have to enter a new specification (one that is not already in your saved list) and then press return (to indicate that you are done editing the specification) to enable the save icon. You can press Shift-Control-R to see the list of your saved specifications. If you create a new specification and try to quit the report view, you will be prompted to save your changes.

Thanks.

I meant to say ". . . a c; MMM d yyyy -b  4-1-13 -e 4-31-13" doesn't work . . . "  But your response covers that.

Also, the report query I was having trouble saving was not already saved, according to the pull-down list.  But I was not hitting return before trying to save it. When I do that (hit return), the save button lights up, as you said.
