unknown alert

When the clock struck midnight tonight I received an "etm alert."  I did not carefully examine it but I think it did not say anything other than "etm alert."  It is most likely a reminder that I have something due in a few days and should be working on it now.  Any way to easily relate the alert to the entry so I can see what I should be doing?

Did you look in the most recent “etm.log”? Etm processes/refreshes
alerts that you set once every minute and refreshes views once every
day at midnight or when an item is created or updated. I’m guessing it
was an etm alert and not one that you set since it happened at
midnight and, if so, there should be an entry in the log file.

I am not sure how to find the etm log.  I used to know so just need some time to figure it out.

It’s in the root of your “~/.etm” directory along with your “etm.cfg”  configuration file.

I thought so and looked at it before my last post.  I see etm.cfg but not etm.log.  Is it etmtk_log.txt, a file with more than 6000 lines, dated 9-30-2018?

Yes, you’re right - the log file is etmtk_log.txt. Messages are appended to the end of the file so you will want to look near the end for messages near midnight on the date you mentioned..
