Google Calendar sidebar gadgets deprecation

As some of you might have seen, each time we use a sidebar gadget there's a nasty warning now in red, saying something like: 

Google calendar sidebar gadgets are being deprecated and will soon no longer work

Is there any possibility to convert this into maybe some kind of greasemonkey script or something to save it?

I'm sufficiently bummed, thinking of a [manual] method to have a "library" of [blank] events archived, that contain the desired flair, so that they can be used and "recycled" when the event is over, etc.  I would really be disappointed if Sebastien's creation was not accessible.
