Hi,
I'd recommend to create a local copy of your previous build ("cp -pr" should be fine for that), then run "git pull", followed by "./configure && make && sudo make install" (with configuration options, eventually) from there. That way you can easily switch back to the older tree and reinstall the previous version if things go bad. Alternatively, for catastrophic failures you can just remember the "git show" commit id to go back to that state, if required.

First of all thank you for your product! It works like a best swiss watches! Meanwhile I can see that sometimes you are doing some changes and fixes. What is a best way to update currently running installation to the most recent version? I have not found such article inside any guide.
