Hey Everyone,

One of Hangzhou's favourite (small) road runs is just around the corner.

Last year about 250 people ran the course. I think the 5km race record is somewhere under 18 minutes... (???) I know there are a few runners in the Maya Bar "Even If It Rains" group who could give that a good shake.

After the event the school usually hosts a family fun fair and jumble sale and also a BBQ up to about midday and I think this year is continuing that tradition.

The Hangzhou International School "Dragons" Fun Run - Sat, 17 May, 8am

What:  5 km road race and fun run + Family fair day - All profits donated to charity.

Where:  Start and finish at the Hangzhou International School gates just south of the QianTang river in Binjiang District.

When:  Sat, 17 May, 8am - Note that 8am is the fun run start time!

You can go to the Fun Run in the morning and then go to the Hangzhou Hash #139 in the afternoon.  :)   I'll be doing both events for sure (if I'm in Hangzhou...)!!!

Hi Folks,

I hear from the organisers that you can still register for this year's HIS Dragons Run event.

And, you can just pay the entry fee on the day between 7 and 7.30am before the start at 8am. Don't be late!!!   :)
