Hangzhou Mountain Trail runs July - December 2015

Hi Folks,

So far I know of 3 mountain trail runs planned. There will probably be a couple more announced later too. Stay tuned to this thread and please post info of other events you hear about.

FYI, the iRanShao (爱燃烧) website is a great resource for local, Chinese, and International running events. In Chinese mostly though, but some page give English language links at the base of the page.

Registration for these events is filling fast, so don't wait until the end of the registration period to register!

Sat, 19 Sep 2015 – ASICS Trail Run (32km or 18km) – 吉武 – 杭州山地越野赛  – Registration closes on 30 July (32km is full already)

Sun, 25 October 2015 – Hangzhou iRanShao Western Trailcatcher Challenge 爱燃烧 杭州西野追狼挑战赛 – 25km trail run for 480 people. Cost: 400rmb – Registration closes on 24 August.

PS. Don't forget about the Hangzhou Hash House Harriers (HZH3) events on every second Saturday afternoon. We often get into the Hangzhou hills, forests and tea fields for our Hash trail runs / hikes. The distance is usually 7 - 9kms, but sometimes longer for special Hashes. Hikers get a shortcut, so everyone finishes at a similar time.

Haha! The 2015 Vasque Hangzhou Trail Running Race was just announced last night too!

2015 Vasque Hangzhou Trail Running Race (28kms) - Sat, 7 Nov 2015 - 2015威斯杯杭州西湖跑山赛 - Registration (500 places) will fill in 1 week!!!
This is the 13th year of this well run event.
