ANN: New/changed relays and other news

Hello EMDR peeples,

A few bits of assorted news for you:

1. EVE-HQ.com has volunteered a third German relay, this time on Intergenia. This is relay-eu-germany-3 on the relay list.
2. Karbowiak's Canadia relay (relay-ca-east-1) got the urge to do some traveling, so it's now relay-eu-germany-4 on Hetzner. All relay-ca-east-1 traffic has been re-routed to us-west-1, so make sure to add redundancy if you already were using us-west-1 and ca-east-1 (since they are now one and the same).

Preparing for CREST

I haven't had a ton of time to work on a CREST feeder for EMDR due to a new job and a pending cross-country move, so I'll toss the net out to the community and ask for help on this. I know there were already some efforts to write these for various sites, but I'd like to re-purpose one to feed EMDR directly. We need something to intelligently poll the CREST API, convert the data to EMDR messages, and stuff them in a ZMQ Push/Pull socket (towards our Announcers). We'd need to be able to run two copies of these, one on master.eve-emdr.com and the other on secondary.eve-emdr.com. Ideally we are smart about polling more popular items/regions, and polling the less volatile or less traded items in the more quiet regions.

If you'd like to share something that may be a good fit, reply on the list and let's look at what you've got.

General network health

I realize that EMDR is something that just quietly hums along in the background, so many forget about it, or take the silence to mean that things are winding down. That's definitely not the case, there's just not a ton of stuff to report at present. Everything works well, we've got plenty of relays (thanks, volunteers), and downtime has pretty much never been a thing. Doesn't leave a lot to talk about!

So in summary, all is well. We've got a good plan worked out for the upcoming CREST era, and I think EMDR is still going to be a lot less painful than running your own polling service for many.

I started some efforts to update github.com/theatrus/crestmarket for feeding EMDR, but never wrapped up all the details of the work. If someone else in the community wants to help update this poller and possibly add some intelligence to it in terms of priorities, I'd be more than happy to accept some contributions :)

If you ever get the urge to finish it off, I'd definitely be interested. I personally will be tied up pretty badly the next few weeks with the move and new job, so I've got to lean on the community a bit for some help.
