Hi,

I'm trying to write a smart spreadsheet at the moment and I'm just wondering why some of the values that I get from the API are so much different to what is being reported by Eve-central on their market browser.

For example a drake shows an average selling value of 53.17M.

Using the API to get the average selling value of it though shows 51.7M.

Here's the import command I'm using:

Anyone know why it is so different? I thought it would be the same?

Which view are you comparing it to? For the most part, with the same parameters, you should be loading the same value (even if cached).

It's okay now. It was because I was not using the hours parameter in the API call. So it kept defaulting to the last 24 hours, meaning the prices were not as 'up to date'.

Problem I have now is that it seems to take an age to "load" the data into a Google Sheet... Wondering now if it's slow from Google's side or the API's. My guess is Google's side, as if I input the links to a Browser I can the results back instantly... May look at doing it locally on an Excel Spreadsheet to see if it speeds up.
