Hi I'm new here,
I've recently downloaded Lackey and found the EVE CCG and I fell in
love. I played only once because I've no one to play with. :( If
anyone is interrested, feel free to call me @ skype (dzwieczny). Just
write in the inv you're from here.

Hope to hear from someone soon,
Casper

Welcome!

I enjoy the game as well. I bought a case of the first set a couple
months back. Like you I only have played a handful of times. Base rush
is a huge problem with the game. So most people play with having to
control 2 or 3 bases before you attack your opponents base.

I have been trying to devise an alternate multiplayer format game for
this game. any insight would be helpful. So far this is what I got:

1)Each player picks a premade deck with a different class/faction @
random.
2)Decks are premade with a one per card copy rule with exception to
non unique locations.
I wouldn't mind it if players had their own deck but honestly who
does?
3)Start the game with one SCC Global Market Starbase structure. Nobody
controls it. SCC Global Market is in nobody's deck.
4) need 4 players.
5) Must control 3 outer region inorder to invade somebodies base.

this is where it gets iffy:
6) Deck size will be 60+. I would like to have 100 card decks but I am
not sure that is possible???

7) Master Command deck. Basically this would be a deck premade with
only 1 card of each card in the game minus outer regions, home
regions, scc global market & may include multiple Archaeological site.
At the start of each players turn for free they get to draw a card out
of the Master Command deck & either play it for free or put it in
hand. I am thinking of having 2 decks maybe one for news & one for
permenants. I may not include News cards altogether. Not sure. This
may not be a great idea. It could cause factions to be broke & make
for some unforeseen problems.

8) Formation of Outer Regions:
Couple possibilities here:
a) The game plays like normal except Outer regions are put in a random
pile that nobody controls. One of each & all of them are included.
Each turn you get to put one outer region into play for free from the
random Outer Region pile. When a region goes into play each player
will recieve isk equal to its cost Maybe? You would not control the
outer region unless you have ships there. There are 18 Outer regions
in the first set. The only problem is Stain. Stain Says your opponents
cannot play regions. So that one may need to not be included if it
causes 2 many problems.

b) Formation. the rules state you can warp to any outer region.
Possibly it would be better to start with all outer regions in play
when you start the game.
I have thought of 2 possible formations & possible rule restrictions:

1) The Cross. 1 center Outer region & then each player has 3 or 4
Outer regions leading up to that one. Kind of like a Cross. They come
in play in a formation stacked towards the middle. In order to warp
you can only go to the next outer region in front or behind you & only
if no ships r blocking u. If they r blocking you need to attack them
to advance. The Outer Regions could be set up in a number of ways. You
could set it up completely random, draft where you want each piece
meaning each player takes turns deciding where the nxt piece goes. Or
you can premake which outer regions would go. The goal is holding the
middle & destroying your opponents ships before you get their base.

2) Same formation (the cross) except you play the game like normal.
You can warp anywhere like normal. The difference is the goal is to
destroy the middle piece. So an outer region in the middle would be a
base that all players could destroy for alt win. Base toughness may
need to be increased.

3) Box formation: This formation would use all Outer regions like a
checker board. I was thinking u could have a middle base all players
could destroy also. Still pondering on this one. Basically all outer
regions are available from the start. You would have to control 3
outer regions before you could attack on an opponent or the common
enemy base (middle piece). You could use the Outer regions to your
beneit (except stain). Warp anywhere.

Scc Global market
cost 0
Star Base Structure
All Players can use the abilities liested on this cards as if the
controlled the card.
8: Draw a card
15: Search your market for any card and place it in your hand. then
shuffle library.
91: It target starbase was dealt damage this turn. It is destroyed

Archaeological site
cost 3
Location
When Archaeological site comes into play you may draw a card. At the
beginning of your turn if you control an Archeological site in four
different regions, you win the game.

Ugh... enough typing for one year!

Again welcome to the game.
