Candidates must have a strong background with the
basic 3 work types and be able to transcribe progress notes. We receive a few
operative notes on this account but not many. Typical procedures are
Bronchoscopies, EGDs, colonoscopies, PEG tubes, central line/catheter
placements, wound debridement, and bedside procedures -- no major surgeries.
Candidates must have solid experience working with ESL dictators as this account
has over 90%. However this account is also about 80-90% VR/SR and we have a ton
of samples! In addition to a highly competitive line rate (65 characters
including spacebar) and direct deposit, we offer a full benefits package,
including medical, dental, vision, company-matched 401K, long and short term
disability, and 10 days per year PTO accrual at $12/hr. PTO and benefits begin
the first of the month following a 90-day wait period.

Candidates for our Team
Supervisor position will manage the day-to-day service delivery of an assigned
client or clients to include meeting contractual obligations for Turnaround Time
(TAT) and quality. The Team Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of
60+ at-home medical transcriptionists and Quality Control Editors. They may also
have external vendor employees assigned to their accounts that they must manage.

TAT, providing coaching and feedback on quality, managing the non-DSP (Direct
Submission Privileges) to DSP process, and providing root cause analysis on any

In addition, the Team Supervisor will be responsible for

account specifics in a Pre-Post Go Live endeavor, working with Account
Management team for coordination of communication for instructions, changes, and
requests throughout the contract duration of assigned customers. They are
responsible for monitoring assigned accounts to ensure TATs are maintained per
contract. They must be capable of multitasking, being very flexible, staying
focused on priorities, and keep strict attention to details. Versatility in use
of transcription equipment and computers is needed, along with computer skills
including MS Word and Excel. They must also have a successful track record
managing the performance of MT employees including providing coaching, feedback,
and handling progressive discipline.
Qualified Team Supervisor candidates
should have 10+ years in the medical transcription profession with at least 5
years experience in a managerial role in the MTSO industry. Prior experience in
proofreading/editing/auditing with customer account management is
preferred.

steady for about 4 weeks and the money is pretty good! The first
deposition I had to transcribe was about 1 hour long of dictation, and
I get paid $1.50 per page. The work is double spaced.. so I was paid
about $145. When I averaged my time out that was about $12-$13 an
hour. Which was great!. The other ones I have done have put me in
the $160 range. So in 4 weeks I have made approximately. $600-$725.
The Legal Work is so much easier than the Medical transcription!!
Everything is nice and clear on the dictation, and I don't have to
look up anything! It is all the Lawyer asking a question and then the
Witness answering.... and an occasional OBJECTION from the other
lawyer.. lol.. which gets VERY interesting! The depositions are done
without a Judge present. This is all the stuff that gets hashed out
before going to Court. We are going to start doing Jail Interview
dictations in the next few weeks... I am interested to see what that
entails!
I hope everyone is doing well and once again.. think out of the box of
Medical Transcription... a frind of mine is doing some work through
the College here. She is an MT and she does dissertation dictation
for some Grad students..
Keep your eyes and ears open... there is work out there!!!!
