Driveshaft measurements

Does anyone know, offhand, how much you have to shorten the driveshaft
when going from the 7 1/4 inch rear end to the 8 3/4? Any other tips
and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Buy a used drive shaft. That fits

I have a contact with drive shafts.  Is us. And Canada.   Run an add on. Kijji. That should work.   Need to know.  Model  year and. Auto or standard. To. Pick proper fit

IIRC its -2.25, 10.09 to 12.35 from axle centerline

Bad news you will have to have  a shally cut to fit.  Cause of the original tranny.  I’ll check. The spec on. How. Much to cut

I. Have. A 64 valiant fastback 273 auto.  30 years ago.  Now have. A. 66. 273. Commando. Auto.    I still have. A spate. 65. 273 commando.  If interested
