Our Earth Day Events are just around the corner. There is still time for you to sign up and be involved at any of the events. Your participation in showcasing your vehicle is greatly appreciated and even just volunteering will ensure the event is a success.
We will be participating at three locations –
April 19th, Ventura Plaza Park Earth Day and EV Showcase.
Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Join us for the City of Ventura Earth Day, held once again at Plaza Park in downtown Ventura. Register and bring your Electric Vehicle and spend the day mingling with others in the EV community. Last year we had 35 vehicles on display representing a wide variety of available vehicles. This year, we will have a great selection, ranging from a 1916 Rauch & Lange to a 2025 Cadillac Optiq. There is still room for at least 10 more vehicles including yours.
We also need volunteers to make the event happen during the setup and breakdown stages.

EV Charging Access updates -
Agoura Supercharger (I know it’s not in Ventura County) on the south side of the 101 & Kanan, just east of Wood Ranch. In the final stages of construction. 32 V4 325kW units.
There are a couple of charging stations in Ventura which have been under construction for several months with finalization relying on SCE time, which I just learned is akin to “Fiji time”.
Ventura Harbor Village EV Charging, the two new locations are now active with 21 level two EVGateway units.
Quinn Caterpillar on Del Norte, in Oxnard has 8 ChargePoint level 2 chargers.
Does anyone have tips on other new stations?
Oxnard, EVgo 350 kW Station at Freemont Square, 820 North Ventura Road (N of Doris Ave). Four dual 350kW Delta Model EIDD-U350SSUUAEG units
It looks like everything is ready, but not yet commissioned, could be a utility thing.
Ventura, The Electrify America Station at the Ventura County Credit Union is almost becoming a legend for its long wait time for commissioning. Perhaps we should schedule a picnic meeting this summer, just because…
See you Tuesday Evening…
