The Air Resource Board awarded a grant to Ocean View and Oxnard Union School Districts to purchase five electric school busses to replace existing fleet units. Two busses for Channel View and three for Oxnard Union. It is anticipated they will be in service within a year. Our Meeting Location Has Changed!!!!
Our regular monthly meeting will still happen on July 18that 6:30 pm.
However the meeting location has changed for this one time only.
We will be meeting at the new Tesla Supercharger location in Ojai, 987 West Ojai Ave. the location of Boku Superfoods. There are picnic tables on the porch where we will meet but with limited seating. If you have a folding chair or two consider bringing them.
Foodwise, we will be doing a potluck. Bring something to share and your own eating hardware. I think there is a no plastic/single use policy for the EV Advocates, or there should be… Reno Rolle, our host at Boku has indicated that the store will be open and he can provide some beverages.
It is anticipated that the Superchargers will be on line Tuesday afternoon, but we have no guarantee. There are also two level 2 ClipperCreek chargers about a ½ block away at Topa Winery, but you might want to give them some patronage.
See you at the sorta ribbon cutting. Our meeting will be brief and we are limiting the discussion items so we can spend more time interacting with each other, the site and our host.
