Is the California HOV ZEV sticker program ending for sure on September 30, 2025?
Is anyone in our state legislature advocating, or putting forward a proposal to extend this?
Will all EV drivers soon not be able to legally drive in HOV lanes solo with no other occupants?
Was an incentive to encourage EV adoption.

I think , initially it was an incentive . I never got stickers with my Soltera so l thought the program was already ended. Honestly , I don’t see enforcement on the freeways anyway . The vehicle code violations are no longer enforced . The CHP as well as local cops no longer pull folks over for tinted windows , expired registration , talking on the phone without “hands free”, or loud exhaust etc. I am usually with my wife when I drive and numerous times see folks in the Diamond lane that don’t belong , even cutting in and out , crossing solid lines to do so.
