Hi, Economic Vitality Action Team,

I’m looking forward to seeing you at tomorrow’s meeting:

Economic Vitality Action Team Meeting

Tuesday, June 25 – 3:00 to 4:00 pm

Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88565217451?pwd=Q3hKM3lIWFYyZnEwVTdhMGU0ZFVEZz09

I’ll send a proposed agenda prior to the meeting. In the meantime, please take a moment to review the attachments we received from Ten Rivers Food Web, along with the following message:

It is with great pleasure that we share with you that Ten Rivers Food Web is exploring the buildout of a not-for-profit warehouse and bulk distribution center for local foods, called the Mid-Valley Food Hub.

Attached you’ll find a one-pager and presentation for your review.  Building a solid proposal requires a multitude of perspectives raising both concerns and affirmations.  Please email us any feedback you have.

We will be discussing this proposal at our EVAT meeting and providing questions and feedback to our partners at Ten Rivers Food Web.

Thanks,

Annette

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya.  Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive.

Hi, EVAT members,

Please take two minutes to review the attached notes from our last meeting. (This is important, so that we don’t waste time re-hashing discussions we’ve already had!)

Here’s a proposed agenda for today’s meeting:

1.     Check-in question: What is something fun you’ve done recently that helps support our local economy?

2.     Online Purchasing Directory

3.     The Arts as an Economic Driver

4.     South Corvallis Food Hub

5.     Saving Green

6.     Next meeting date/time

If you’re able, please enter the Zoom room a few minutes early, so we can start right at 3 pm. The Zoom link is in the email below.

Thanks!

Annette
