Hi, EVAT members,

 

Please review the following items prior to tomorrow’s meeting:

 

• SOLD and Buy Local First (BLF) logos created by Katy Krupp (attached) – I requested that she coordinate the colors, so we could use these logos in tandem.
• Meeting notes from May and July 2026 (attached) – These include ideas for us to follow up on.
• Economic Vitality section of Community Sustainability Action Framework

 

Proposed agenda:

 

1. Finalize plans for designing/distributing SOLD signs for placement in participating businesses
2. Determine our process for review of the Economic Vitality section of the Community Sustainability Action Framework
3. Next meeting date

 

I have in-person meetings tomorrow (Friday) from 9 to 11:45 am, so I may be a few minutes late to the EVAT meeting. Please log in to the Zoom link below around 12:10 am.

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya.  Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive. FYI, I have completed a first draft of flyer, per the action item in the July notes. Once the logo is finalized and agreed-upon, I will revisit the flyer and update the colorway and fonts to better blend with the logo. Once they're presentable I will share them with the team to review.
