Local Economy Solution
Hi all,
I sent a request for information email earlier this week and
today I received a reply from Michael Schuman. He included some blog
posts from his website that I intend to review this weekend. You can
look them over and see if there are any worthwhile ideas we could use.
I think I have mentioned that Michael Schuman is the author of The
Local Economy Solution and several other books. The book can be
ordered through GrassRoots Bookstore for $21.50 or Chelsea Green
Publishing for $19.50. Their website says they have books in stock. I
added a link below.
Have a good weekend,
Kirk Rensmeyer

Hello Mr. Schuman,
I read your book, The Local Economy Solution, and was very
impressed by the variety of options and solutions that you presented.
I was wondering if you had any general suggestions regarding economic
recovery in the Post-COVID period that we are in.
I am a member of the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition in
Corvallis, Oregon. Corvallis is a town with a population of 58,000. It
is the county seat of Benton County and home to Oregon State
University and the Beavers. It has a mix of small local businesses,
some chain stores and high-tech light industries such as Hewlett
Packard.
We are interested in enhancing the viability of our local
businesses. Any ideas or resources you might have would be much
appreciated.
Regards,
Kirk Rensmeyer
