Hi, Economic Vitality Action Team,

At our last meeting, we decided to try having our team meetings on a quarterly basis, rather than every month. It was clear that those working on potential new projects need more time to meet between regular EVAT meetings. So our next full team meeting won’t be until 8/9/22 at 4:15 pm. Please save the date!

In the meantime, the following project groups should plan to meet to move your projects forward:

·         CAW/Buy Local/ Farm to Table (Adrienne, Annette, Kate, Ruby)

·         Place-making/Toolkit for Outdoor Public Events (Jerry, Kathryn, Annette)

·         Resilient Food & Agriculture System (Sean, Aliza, Annette)

·         Arts Hub/Directory (Kate, Adrienne, Annette)

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Annette

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya.  Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive.
