My re-education in health, economic and political matters has been
greatly enhanced my taking advantage of "wasted time" like driving,
mowing the grass, etc, by certain Internet broadcasts. My favorite
site is georgegordon.com . George Gordon, 69 years young, lives in
Isabella MO, milks his own cows (drinking the raw milk), heats with
wood and puts the ashes in his organic garden, pays no taxes, lives by
Mosaic law - and teaches a law school - and accepts only gold for
payment. He does a daily one hour show and has most of them (over
2000 hours worth) available for free download from his web site. Most
of his shows are topical, comprised of 7, one hour sessions where he
reads excerpts from books like Sally Fallons book on Raw Milk, Dr Joel
Wallach's book, Hell's Kitchen, to name a few.
I included some links below that I thought might be of interest to the
group (hopefully they show up as blue hyperlinks, but if they don't
your may have to copy them and paste in your web browser) Everything
from George Gordon is free - except for the mp3 player. A 1 or 2
gigabyte mp3 player can be purchased new for under $75 and will hold
36 to 50 hours of programming. If you don't have or want an mp3
player, you can listen while sitting at the computer or burn the mp3
file unto an audio CD.

Another very good show is The Power Hour found at thepowerhour.com
(check out this week's show and past shows to see the topics they
discuss). This and many other shows, I record automatically by using
a program called Replay AV found at replay-radio.com .
This program is like programming a VCR, but easier. Just select from
their menu of 1000's of radio shows or copy their URL, select time and
date, and other options, and it will automatically dial in that web
site, record the program, save it as an mp3 file, ready for you to
play while at the computer or transfer to your mp3 player. This is
what I do - every day while I'm at work, the computer downloads
internet broadcasts, saves them into mp3 files and every night, I
transfer the files to my IPOD for listening the next day. Works
great. The program costs about $30 dollars. With its continually
updated program list, you'll be surprised how much info in available
on organic food, farming, health matters along with any of the
conventional talk shows you hear on the am radio. The Power Hour has
an option on its home page where by clicking a link on the left side,
you can hear the previous show repeated continuously, until the next
daily show airs. This option is free if you want to check it out,
don't have an mp3 player, whatever.
