Just a reminder that Mountain Arts and Music will be hosting SARAH McQUAID in a House Concert this Sunday (Sept 15) at 4:30 pm in Liberty. It will be an awesome presentation of fine acoustic music by an award winning guitarist who also writes and performs original songs.
Born in Madrid (to a Spanish father and an American mother), raised in Chicago and now living in rural England, Sarah McQuaid was taught piano and guitar by her folksinging mother. She moved to Ireland in 1994 and lived there for 13 years, working as a music journalist and magazine editor. In 2007, she re-released her 1997 debut solo album. Recently honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Ards International Guitar Festival in No. Ireland.
